GTConnect Gateway
Connect the local sensor network to the GTO platform
The GTConnect gateway receives data from compatible GTSensors over the site’s LoRa network and sends it to the cloud platform through an approved internet connection.
Installed at the site, GTConnect links the local monitoring network with the GTO platform. Authorized users can review reported events, device locations, and system status. Gateway placement and communication should be tested against the actual building and monitoring-point layout before a full rollout.
GTConnect supports multiple connectivity options, including wired LAN, supported Wi-Fi hardware, and supported cellular hardware with an appropriate service plan. Available options and specifications can change; confirm the current configuration with Rook Pest. An external antenna may be appropriate where site testing shows that additional radio coverage is needed.

A gateway should be planned as part of the monitoring service, not treated as an invisible appliance. The pest management team needs a process for checking status, investigating communication exceptions, documenting changes, and maintaining coverage when the site layout or monitoring scope changes.
